• Turkflicks . com is a very good site for English subtitled series and films. The only major lacunae is that unlike Netflix, they don’t have a good system to keep you at the point you left off; unless of course you saw the entire episode. Other than this, I found the site well organised. Recommended for those hooked on to Turkish drama. Level of Turkish acting is indeed high.

• I saw a few comments people asking on where to find Turkish series with english subtitles. YouTube is a great source but I think turkfans.com is a really great place to watch some of the best Turkish series. I found it while trying to search a site to watch Siyah Beyaz Aşk and have ended up watching some great series.. I am currently watching Sefirin Kizi and boy it's an emotional roller coaster!!

• Is Carpisma going to be available in Spanish or English audio instead of subtitles. I dont enjoy the show as much if I have to read what is being said. I rather hear it.

  • Hi Lucia...i don't think it will be available with English audio....actually none of the ones I have listed are available with English audio.....just available with english subtitles....after awhile i got used to them with the english subtitles....i put on the voice...turkish speaking and i read the subtitles. best regards Carrie

• You can see some on Netflix although Netflix usually only shows episodes from 1 season and you are left hanging waiting for the next season which never comes on. I have seen numerous series on Netflix though and sometimes I've been lucky to find the rest of the seasons on http://www.youtube.com I have also seen full seasons of turkish series on http://www.youtube.com. I am currently watching Carpisma on youtube. Other wonderful turkish series - my favorites - are listed below. When doing the search on youtube just mention the series with english subtitles so you can read the subtitles if you are English.

  My favorite all time Turkish series are listed below:

  KARADAYI (The Uncle in Black) -- excellent starring Kenan Imirzalioglu and Berguzar Korel. This is featured on Netflix but only features 1 season. There are actually 3 seasons so you may have to search it on youtube but unfortunately does not have the english subtitles on youtube. Netflix does have the english subtitles and it is very worthwhile to see the first season on Netflix and then just look at the scenes on youtube for the 2nd and third season.

  1001 NIGHTS (BINBIR GEGE) - excellent series featuring Berguzar Korel and Halcit Ergenc who are married in real life. Wonderful series. There are 3 seasons but only 1 season is featured on Netflix. The other 2 are on youtube but not with english subtitles. Netflix has the 1 season with english subtitles.

  WINTER SUN (KIS GUNESI) - the whole series is featured on Netflix. Wonderful series featuring Suki Ozyildiz and Ash Enver. Great series.

  GONUL (Hatira Gonul) - very good series featuring Onur Saylak and Elgin Ozturk. Featured on Netflix...the whole series.

  KURT SEYIT VE SURA - featuring Kivanc Tatlitug (so handsome) and Farah Zeynep Abdullah and Fahiriye Evcen and Elcin Sanglu. Featured on Netflix.

  KARA PARA ASK (BLACK MONEY LOVE) - Excellent...one of my favorites starring Engin Akyurek (love him) and Tuba Buyukusttun (I don't know if they are still seeing each other in real life). Wonderful series featured on www,youtube.com with english subtitles.

  CESUR VE GUZEL (Brave and Beautiful) - also one of my favorites featuring Tuba Buyukustun and Kivanc Tatilug. Saw it on http://www.youtube.com with english subtitles. Excellent.

  CARPISMA - Very good. I am currently watching it on http://www.youtube.com - just put in name of series with english subtitles in the search. Starring Kivanc Tatilug.

  Hope this list helps you to enjoy some of the great Turkish series.

  • Carrie, I want to see Cesur Ve Guzel with either English or Spanish subtitles but can't find it on You tube. They have the trailer with English subtitles. Big deal. It only lasts a couple of minutes.This series was dubbed in Spanish but they blocked all the videos. The episodes with English subtitles are gone.They've done that on quite a few of them. I love Murat Yildirim and was able to watch two wonderful series on you tube. Love and Punishment (Ask ve Ceza) with Murat and Nurgul Gesilcay and Asi with Tuba Buyukustun and Murat. They were wonderful. I love him. However, his other series are all in Turkish with no subtitles. I am very disappointed. Maybe they'll be translated one day. I just hoping. Thank you for the information you gave us.

    • Hi Elizabeth....sorry to hear that you tube is showing less series with english subtitles. I guess i have been lucky to see them. Capisma is on youtube with English subtitles. I have just a few more episodes to watch. Try to see some of the series I listed...as they were all excellent.

• I am addicted to see Kivanc & his versatile acting. I watched most of his serials & learned little Turkish language.

• Where can we please see more Turkish films and productions with ENGLISH subtitles?? I have seen so many on Netflix and love the actors and story lines so much!! I'm addicted!
