Great success of “Family Secrets (Yargi)” at the 51st International Emmy Awards!

    At the International Emmy Awards, which were held for the 51st time this year, Kanal D’s rating record-breaking series “Family Secrets (Yargi)”, signed by Ay Productions, achieved a great success by winning an award in the category of “Best Telenovela”.

    Family Secrets (Yargi) Turkish Drama was the only candidate representing Turkey in this important international award given to television productions.

    At the International Emmy Awards, where 56 productions from 20 countries competed in a total of 14 categories. “Family Secrets (Yargi)” won the award in the “Best Telenovela” category by overtaking strong competitors such as “Cara e Coragem” and “Pantanal” from Brazil and “Para Semper” from Portugal.

    The awards were presented at a ceremony held in New York. The ceremony was hosted by renowned actor and comedian Rhys Darby.

    Prior to the award ceremony, finalist medals were given to screenwriter Sema Ergenekon and producer Kerem Catay.

    Producer Kerem Catay, director Ali Bilgin, screenwriter Sema Ergenekon and lead actors Kaan Urgancioglu and Pinar Deniz were in New York for the ceremony.

    Two days before the ceremony, Sema Ergenekon participated in the panels as a speaker with the other finalists.

    The International Emmy Awards are given annually by the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences to productions produced outside the United States.
