The Popular Turkish Drama Silver (Gumus) to Air in the U.S.

The Popular Turkish drama Silver (Gumus) that stars Kivanc Tatlitug and Songul Oden aired in Turkey between 2005-2007. This popular drama will be aired on the Spanish-language U.S. network Pasiones Monday through Friday.

Silver (Gumus) is one of the first Turkish dramas sold abroad. It was broadcasted in almost 100 countries from East Europe to East Asia, from Middle Asia to Latin America.

Francisco Gimenez, the general manager of cable networks for Hemisphere Media Group, Pasiones’ parent company stated that “Our viewers continue to show a great interest in drama-packed Turkish productions and we are excited to be on the cutting edge of this growing trend”.

    I have only in the last three months come across Turkish dramas on Net Flix and Have become completely addicted to them , even though they are subtitled . They are such a refreshing change . At the moment I am engrossed in ” The Girl that I Loved ” and previously enjoyed Seyit and Sura . More please.

  2. I agree. Love Seyit and Sura. Want to see Ask-i Memu (Forbitten Love) on Netflix or Amazon with English subtitles. Found some episodes on youtube and became addicted. I have become a big fan of Kivanc Tatlitag

    Will there be a second sesson to “the girl I loved”. Also Seyit and Sura is on of the best ive ever seen. The actor playing Seyit is a great actor. More turkish drama please.
